Dear members and friends of GRAND COEUR,
The year is drawing to a close, and we can look back with gratitude on the many encouraging steps we have taken together. Thanks to your commitment, your donations, and your time, we have been able to implement numerous projects this year that have made a lasting improvement to the lives of people in difficult situations.
Our work in northern Benin, particularly in N'Dali, demonstrates every day that humanity and solidarity know no bounds. Whether supporting people with disabilities, promoting education, or assisting families in need, wherever heart and energy come together, hope is born.
We are delighted to announce that GRAND COEUR is currently preparing to establish a partnership with the Hôpital Évangélique de Bembèrèkè. The aim of this collaboration is to further strengthen medical care in the region, promote local expertise, and deepen exchanges between professionals in Benin and Europe.
Working with three volunteer physiotherapists from Germany, who spent three weeks at St. Padre Pio Hospital in N'Dali, was particularly inspiring. They also visited rural areas, handed out donations and talked to villagers about their living conditions, joys and concerns. The response was very positive and the need for such support remains high.
Plans include:
• Voluntary medical missions by nurses and doctors from Europe,
• Exchange programs for continuing education and training,
• as well as donations of medical supplies for training purposes.
This partnership exemplifies our vision of solidarity and sustainable development based on mutual respect and a shared desire to improve lives.
