Dear colleagues, friends, and supporters,
As managing director of ONG Grand Cœur and as a nurse, I am deeply moved by the tremendous solidarity I experienced before my trip to Benin in October.
Before I left, my colleagues from nursing, medical services, and many other professional groups gave me numerous used but fully functional medical supplies. These donations were intended for our partner hospital, the Hôpital Évangélique de Bembèrèkè, which works closely with our aid organization.
Despite limited luggage capacity, I was able to personally bring a large portion of the materials to Benin and hand them over there. The joy on site was immense, both among the hospital staff and the patients, who are now directly benefiting from your generosity. Your donations are already helping to significantly improve the care of sick and needy people.
In addition to being transported in luggage, another portion of the materials was shipped to Benin via DHL.
The entire shipping costs were covered in full by an active member of our organization and his partner. Here, too, customs demanded an official donation receipt.
The PGL responded immediately and issued the necessary documents without hesitation. Thanks to this quick support, all packages were forwarded without any problems.

Transparency is important to us For anyone who is not yet familiar with our work or has questions: we are happy to provide all receipts, handover reports, shipping records, and documentation upon request. The hospital in Bembèrèkè has also created a detailed overview of all materials received, so that it is possible to verify at any time that all donations have arrived in full and in good order.
