DONATION OF MEDICAL SUPPLIES AND CLOTHING TO CHILDREN IN NEED IN BOUNIN

On Saturday, March 14, 2026, the NGO GRAND CŒUR organized a donation ceremony for medical supplies and products, as well as clothing, to benefit the village clinic and children in need in Bounin, located in the municipality of N’Dali.

The ceremony took place on the grounds of the village clinic, attended by the village chief, several community leaders, the head nurse of the health center, and the parents of the children receiving assistance.

As part of its efforts to improve the well-being of rural communities and promote access to healthcare, the NGO GRAND CŒUR provided various medical supplies and equipment designed to strengthen the village clinic’s capabilities.

The donated items included:

  • medical gloves,
  • Bottles of hand sanitizer,
  • Face masks,
  • some essential medications,
  • Adult incontinence diapers,
  • Baby diapers and wet wipes.

This donation is intended to support local healthcare workers in their daily efforts to provide high-quality healthcare to the population—especially women and children.

In addition to providing medical supplies, the NGO GRAND CŒUR also provided direct assistance to several needy children in the village.

These children were previously identified in collaboration with the village chief and community leaders to ensure that the aid reaches the families most in need.

The children who received assistance were given toys, clothing, and shoes, enabling them to have appropriate and decent clothing while also benefiting from the developmental value of play.

This gesture symbolizes the commitment of the NGO GRAND CŒUR to promoting dignity, social inclusion, and the well-being of children from disadvantaged families.

At the end of the ceremony, the village chief, the community leaders, the nurse from the Bounin clinic, and the parents of the children who benefited from the program expressed their deep gratitude to the NGO GRAND CŒUR.

They commended this initiative, which addresses specific needs within the community, and thanked the members of the NGO as well as its partners and donors, whose generosity makes such efforts possible.

Through this initiative, the NGO GRAND CŒUR reaffirms its commitment to taking concrete steps to improve the living conditions of disadvantaged groups, particularly children, women, and people in vulnerable situations.

The organization intends to continue its solidarity initiatives in collaboration with local communities and partners in order to make a lasting contribution to social development and the well-being of the population.
