As part of the implementation of the project to support the mobility of people with motor impairments, the NGO GRAND CŒUR, with the support of itsmembers and various donors, organized a ceremony on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at the town hall of N'Dali to hand over ergonomic walking aids to around twenty beneficiaries.
The ceremony took place in a warm and highly emotional atmosphere—both for the beneficiaries and for the local authorities and the GRAND CŒUR management team. A total of twenty people benefited from this material support. They were selected in collaboration with the Association for People with Disabilities in N'Dali and the village leaders.

Fourteen (14) beneficiaries received their modern walking aids directly at the town hall in N'Dali. For the remaining six (06) people, the GRAND CŒUR team traveled to the village of Banhounkpo to make things easier for them. Among the beneficiaries were five (05) women and fifteen (15) men.
It is particularly noteworthy that the aid organization and its partners gave priority to the most financially disadvantaged people with motor impairments when making their selection. The beneficiaries were deeply moved and expressed their gratitude to the aid organization GRAND CŒUR. According to them, this initiative meets an important need that some had not dared to express for many years and that others had been unable to meet due to a lack of financial resources.
Through this initiative, GRAND CŒUR is meeting a real human need by reducing the daily burdens faced by people with limited mobility while also enhancing their dignity. The ceremony took place in the presence of the mayor of the municipality of N'Dali, Mr. SAKA MERE Daouda, and his staff. The municipal authorities took the opportunity to officially express their gratitude and high appreciation to the GRAND CŒUR aid organization and all its members.
Finally, we would like to express our sincere thanks to all members of the aid organization and to all supporters who have made this valuable initiative possible through direct donations or anonymously via crowdfunding platforms.
Together, we want to continue working with the aid organization GRAND CŒUR to promote inclusion and dignity for vulnerable people.
